Set in a peaceful pocket of coastline just outside Mochlos, Villa Iremia feels wonderfully open and connected to its surroundings. The villa sits within spacious grounds, with incredible sea views spanning across the horizon, giving every outdoor space a wide, uninterrupted view of the water.
Inside, the design is modern but elegant, with natural textures, soft tones and large windows that draw in plenty of light. The main living space is open plan, creating a simple flow between the kitchen, living, dining area and terraces. It’s a villa made for spending time outdoors, with shaded seating areas, generous lawns and an impressive al fresco cooking setup that includes a built-in barbecue, pizza oven and outdoor kitchen.
The 15‑metre infinity pool is the centrepiece of the garden, accompanied by a jacuzzi and a shallow pool for children. With loungers spaced comfortably around the terrace, there's room for everyone to soak up the sun.
Across the main house and the separate annexe, five bedrooms each have their own shower room and either a balcony or terrace looking out towards the sea or the surrounding hills. The layout works perfectly for families or groups who appreciate a little extra privacy.
Practical touches like underfloor cooling, mosquito nets, safes in all bedrooms, children’s equipment and pool toys, make the stay feel relaxed and well considered. While the villa has the luxury of privacy, you’re also only a short drive from beaches, waterfront tavernas and the easygoing atmosphere of Mochlos village. A comfortable and contemporary base for unwinding by the Cretan coast.
