About The Villa

The southern St.Lucia surroundings are totally unspoilt. The guests at La Bagatelle are quite the opposite. With astonishing amounts of space to be shared by just four people, this beautiful villa has captured the art of indoor/outdoor living with effortless elegance, perfect for people who appreciate natural beauty and amazing surroundings. Gardens have been replanted with bougainvillea, poinsettias, pink and white vincas, white and blue thunbergia blossoms hanging along the railings, fragrant white ginger lilies and bamboo. On the ground floor a huge, open-plan, open-walled living area is stylishly furnished with several seating arrangements, a truly indulgent, curtain-draped four-poster day bed, and a hammock hung at the outer edge to catch the breeze and the brilliant views. The covered timber terrace leads to the tiled poolside, furnished with cushioned loungers and surrounded by lush greenery. The two en suite bedrooms are on the lower floor, accessed externally from the terrace, one of them complete with two double four-posters. And the whole place is wonderfully served by the cook/housekeeper, and encompassed in foliage ablaze with climbing and cascading flowering shrubs. The villa’s owners live discreetly next door and their tennis court is made available to guests here.

La Bagatelle is a five minute drive from Ansa Chastanet with superb diving facilities and ten minutes from Soufriere, the most beautiful part of St. Lucia with its Sulphur Springs, Botanical Gardens and Mineral Baths, rain forest and unspoiled coastline.
