Part of our high-spec ABOVE collection, Dar El Sadaka is an exceptional villa designed for large groups of family and friends. Created by French visual artist Jean-François Fourtou, this unique property features fascinating artwork and nine individually-themed suites and bedrooms. Nestled in a twenty-five acre private area in the palmeraie of Marrakech, Dar El Sadaka truly offers a holiday to remember. On the ground floor, guests will discover a spacious and stylish living room, dining room, library and home cinema, as well as a hammam and spa treatment area. There are also four double-bed suites here, each with wonderfully unique features including a plunge bath in the Tortoises Suite, a dressing room in the Donkey Suite, a circular plunge bath and lounge in the Geese Suite, and a rain shower in the Bee Bedroom. Head upstairs to discover four more en suite bedrooms. The lovely Dog Suite is designed with access to both a terrace and balcony, while the Camels Suite has a plunge bath for two and an annexe with a single bed. The bright and airy Ant Junior Suite features a skylight and an annexe with a single bed, whilst the Snails Bedroom includes a fireplace and a rain shower. The spacious Giraffe Suite can be found on the second floor, complete with a super-king size bed, a workspace, sitting room with a wood stove, hanging cactus garden, rain shower and an outdoor freestanding bathtub to enjoy under the stars.
The additional Riad Suite can be rented alongside the main villa to sleep up to four more guests. This annexe includes a double and twin bedroom, a lovely patio with a covered sitting area, and a terrace with a cactus garden. This exceptional property is just as spacious and unique outside, with a lovely large pool and lush gardens. The villa is fully-staffed for an indulgent and luxurious escape just 8.9km from the vibrant centre of Marrakech.
Please note that this property sleeps 20 in the Main villa in 9 bedrooms, 2 of which have an annexe with an additional single bed. These rooms share the bath/shower room with the main bedroom.
Dar El Sadaka is a full staffed and fully serviced private villa. The guest services team provides support for stay planning prior to your arrival and during your stay. A wide range of experiences is offered and each stay is personalised according to guests’ preferences and special requests. Additional services payable locally are charged in local currency. The team may use carefully selected subcontractors to for the provision of some services but outside suppliers or outside providers for on-site services cannot be used during your stay.
Dar El Sadaka is a fully hosted experience including dining service à la carte. It is not possible for guests to self-cater or to hire their own chef. Daily full breakfasts are included. All mineral water (still and sparkling), traditional Moroccan mint tea and Louisa (verbena from the garden) are also included. All other meals, snacks and drinks are à la carte. Half-board or full-board are not available. Our very talented House Chef offers a flavourful and creative cuisine with international influences. Moroccan classics are reinterpreted, lightened and delicately spiced. Every day, Madame Hassna and her team compose exquisite meals made with fresh organic produce of the highest quality. There are plenty of options available to ensure all tastes are catered for, sample menus are available on request. In keeping with family tradition, for each meal guests are asked to choose ahead a starter, a main course and a dessert for their entire party. Menus change every day and follow the seasons. They can be adapted to special diet requirements (vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, nut-free, gluten-free etc.) Children's menus are composed according to the instructions given by their parents. Please note that there is no in-room dining service and the kitchen is closed at night. Night snacks prepared in advance are available upon request. Dar El Sadaka holds an alcohol licence. Alcoholic drinks are à la carte but guests can also bring their own alcohol for a corkage fee of MAD 90 per bottle of wine and MAD 165 per bottle of Champagne and spirits. In addition, wine, Champagne and spirits can be coordinated via special orders.
The artwork decorating the villa interiors and exteriors, the animal sculptures in particular, cannot be moved or removed. Product/brand placement and shooting with the artwork for commercial purposes is strictly forbidden. The villa, including the furniture and the other contents are to be treated with care. A security deposit of MAD 55,000 will be pre-approved on your credit card upon arrival against incidentals and any damages. You can have day guests and intimate events with up to 30 people during your stay. Larger events are not allowed. The swimming pool is not fenced and young children need to be looked after by in-house guests at all times.
Dar El Sadaka sculpture park, including Jean-François Fourtou’s monumental art installations Fallen From The Sky and The Giant’s House, is adjacent to the property and accessible during your stay but is not for exclusive use.
