Situated on the outskirts of the medieval town of Vence, within walking distance of the historic centre, Villa Claudia is a spacious property located above the sparkling Cote d'Azur.
Villa Claudia is a lovely, spacious villa set among pines and oaks that drop away through the Malvan Valley towards the sea. This property is sleek and retro, offering a harmonious atmosphere designed for relaxed living. Inside, guests will discover a spacious lounge with two french doors that open onto the southern upper terrace. This cosy room is equipped with plenty of comfy seats and a working fireplace. The open-plan dining area provides seating for twelve guests, opening onto the sunny portico seating area outside. The sleek kitchen is well-equipped, complete with a marble tiled floor and an opening onto the al fresco dining terrace. The ground floor is also home to a wonderful library, reading area and study. On the upper ground floor, guests will find a useful laundry room, as well as a boulevard entrance. The lower ground room is home to the first of six bedrooms, a minimalistic double bedroom with a lovely shower room en suite. Head up to the first floor to discover three more double bedrooms, each with an en suite, some with private terrace or balcony. The annexe offers the perfect spot for guests looking for additional privacy, complete with a sitting room, kitchen and dining area, and two en suite bedrooms.
The villa boasts exceptional outdoor living areas, each framed by lush, tropical gardens and olive groves, offering a space to indulge your family escapism. The large, turquoise pool offers the perfect spot to cool off after a day in the sun. Villa Claudia is the perfect base to explore a wealth of regional art, culture, sport activities and culinary delights. A supermarket, cafe, bakery and restaurants are all located less than 1km away. Plage de la Serre Beach is situated just 11.5km from the villa. Nearby places of interest include lovely Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Nice, Antibes and Cannes.
The property is situated on a sloping site. All pedestrian access to varying changes of level between the villa and annex, car park, boulevard, swimming pool, gardens and all terraces is stepped.
For 2023: Parties up to 8 will have use of the main villa only; parties between 9 to 12 will also have use of the annex (smaller parties can pay a supplement for the use of the annex). Except during Peak Season (From June 24 to August 25) where the use of the main house and annex is included for any party size.
For 2024: Use of the main house and annex for all bookings whatsoever the party size. One mid stay cleaning included.
A tourist tax (taxe de sejour) will be payable directly at the end of the stay (approximately EUR3 - EUR4 per person per night for adults of 18 and over)
