With all the aristocratic elegance of old Sicily, and all the mod cons of a contemporary family villa, this fine house focuses on a big swimming pool, and looks out to far-reaching rural and sea views.
Surrounded by large and lush terraces, and raised a little for fantastic views, this rural retreat looks out over the countryside from Erice to the salt pans, and across the sea as far as the Egadi islands. With the warmth of a family home which has evolved over time, the villa’s décor is a blend of classic antiques on traditional rugs, modern art on crisp white walls, and rather rustic raftered ceilings. On the ground floor, the living room is open to an elegant dining room, and the well equipped kitchen could seem even better with (pre-bookable) cook service.
Four bedrooms share the first floor with a small sitting room, where a Juliet balcony faces sweeping views, and a staircase leads to the top floor bedroom, comfortably furnished with a French bed. Spacious and elegantly styled and all with air conditioning, most of the bedrooms also have en suite bath or shower room.
A particular feature of the bedrooms is the original Sicilian floor tiles which were restored during the renovation of the villa. Outside, the generous swimming pool basks in a spacious sunny terrace, with loungers in the sun and little tables under olive tree shade. The dining area with table and benches is at the rear of the property adjacent to the kitchen. Sundowners can be adjoined on the panoramic terrace adjacent to the gardens of the villa. A local shop in Paceco is 2km away, and Trapani’s sandy beach, bars, restaurants and boutiques are just 9km from the villa. This is a very convenient spot, within easy reach of beaches locally or at San Vito Lo Capo, Scopello and day trips to the Egadi islands, Erice, Trapani, Palermo and the temples of Segesta and Selinunte.
Please note the wall of the front terrace is very low. Young children must be supervised at all times.
Please note car is recommended, roads are not suitable for walking.
Changeover day Saturday: 25 June - 26 August but flexible at all other times (minimum 7 nights).
Please note electricity is included up to 300 kilowatts per week. Any additional usage is payable locally at the rate of Euro 0.5 per kilowatt.
An English speaking CV Representative in Italy will be available by phone during your stay. Contact details will be sent with your travel documents.
Arrival between 16:00 - 21:00. For arrivals between 21:00 - 24:00, a late arrival fee of €30 will be charged, payable in cash locally to the Property Manager. Departure by 10:00.
