Set on the shoreline between Split and Sibenik, this very modern villa is just 5km from the beautiful beaches and vast vineyards of historic Primosten islet, once reached only across a drawbridge but now linked by a causeway.  Climbing the slopes from the water’s edge, the villa’s furnished terraces are tiered into the cliff, from a sunbathing platform on the rocks, with loungers and a ladder into the sea; to a lawned garden at the same level as the infinity pool; a timber sundeck just above; then a spacious al fresco dining area and, crowning the whole sea-view ensemble, a huge sun-soaked roof terrace, accessed through the villa’s top floor suite. With a bedroom, living room and kitchenette, this second floor offers extra privacy for two, while three en suite bedrooms share the middle level, and the ground floor is home to a sleek dining kitchen and chic sitting room. 
Fully air-conditioned, the villa is unashamedly arty from top to toe, its monochrome décor splashed with flashes of colour, a pair of bright gold chairs here, a turquoise dining table there, a yellow vase, pink cushion or striking trompe l’oeil.
