There’s a real holiday feel to this delightful little villa in St. Lucia. Small but perfectly formed, an excellent choice either as a romantic retreat for two or for two couples, and very good value.
With easy access to beaches on both sides of the island, and with views over the golf course to the Caribbean Sea, this is a well-placed and very adaptable villa, made all the more enjoyable with the housekeeper Marietta’s wonderful cooking. Set in landscaped gardens of typically tropical flowers and fruit trees, D’Arcy is approached via a pathway through bamboo and coconut palms, which leads to the upper level of the house. Here an open-plan living area includes a very well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, and an attractive sitting room with polished wood floors, cooling fans and comfy chairs. Louvered doors run the full length of one wall and open on to the dining terrace, which faces west to the see the sea and the sunsets. On the lower ground floor, each of the air-conditioned bedrooms opens on to a little patio with access to the swimming pool and sun deck, one of the rooms furnished for double or twin bedded use. A twenty five minute drive from the capital, Castries, the villa is just five minutes from the beach, golf and tennis facilities.
A refundable security deposit of US$1000 is to be paid via a link roughly 14 days beforehand.
The great advantage of a Caribbean villa holiday is that holidays can commence on any day and duration is also flexible. The minimum stay is 5 nights, so villas can be booked for 8, 9, 10, 11 nights etc. Special conditions apply for Christmas and New Year. Please enquire for a full tailor-made quotation.
Staff usually have one day off a week and are happy to do grocery shopping for a small charge
Stays of minimum 7 nights are required 18 December - 04 January. 7 night stays should be EITHER Christmas or New Year. Stays of more than 7 nights but less than 14 nights are accepted if the stay also spans either Christmas or New Year.
Please note that both bedrooms are externally accessed via wooden steps from the gardens and self contained. There is no internal connection between the bedrooms or the living room above.
For parties up to 2 people, one bedrooms will be closed. This does not apply for the Christmas and New Year period 18 December - 04 January.
100% cancellation fee applies for any booking cancelled 60 days or less before departure for travel between December 15th - April 14th inclusive. For all other periods 100% cancellation fee applies for any booking cancelled 45 days or less before departure.
Arrival from 16.00. Departure by 10.00.
